In 2011 Maynard Timmons came to his wife, Jacquelene with a vision. He wanted to be the “Walmart of apps” for small businesses. After years in the corporate world, seeing how small businesses were being charged astronomical amounts of money for development and IT logistics, he was ready to start his own business where he would make apps affordable and attainable. Thirteen years later, the business is thriving as a family-owned business, all with a little help from vcita.

Digital Logistic’s main challenge was organization and innovation. Doing everything manually – from scheduling appointments to collecting payments – was taking up precious time from being with clients and causing extra work for this already exhausted new business.
As a digital technology company, they knew they couldn’t fall behind when it came to digitalization. So Maynard and Jacquelene set out to find a digital solution that would help them organize their business across the board.

The entrepreneurial couple wanted to be able to communicate with and keep track of all their clients in one place. Before using vcita, they were sifting through paperwork and emails trying to piece together each client’s story. Now, they can do it all with vcita’s CRM. They are able to understand each client’s needs better because all notes, documents, and important information is stored in the CRM. “We tell our employees: do everything through the system”, Jacquelene says, “that way we have everything we need in one place and each employee can stay updated on all our clients”.
From onboarding a new employee, to having clients fill out documents, the team at Digital Logistics has made the document-sharing process more efficient with vcita. Employees used to fill out onboarding forms by hand, now it’s all done online, making it more streamlined, more accessible, and more effective to the onboarding process.
Digital Logistics understood that not all of their clients want to be reached by phone. NOt only that, but it was proving difficult to catch clients at convenient hours. The company was also sending emails manually, tracking lists of clients. But as they grew, they knew they needed to automate and innovate the process. They now leverage vcita email and SMS tools as a way of keeping in touch with their clients twice a week and updating them on important information.
Making the scheduling process seamless was crucial for Digital Logistics, they wanted to be available to clients and prospects as much as possible. But doing things manually prevented them from being able to handle the influx of calls. With vcita, they send each client a link to their client portal and done…all the scheduling is done through the system and they never miss an opportunity.
